I have enjoyed millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a few days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 bet
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
