I have bet on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first $10 bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
