I have gambled on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
