black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. It is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you grow your bank roll, you feel like you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom falls.
black jack is so very similar to a rollercoaster the similarities are alarming. As is the case with the popular amusement park experience, your black jack game will peak and things will seemingly be going well for awhile before it bottoms out again. You most certainly have to be a gambler that can readjust to the ups … downs of the game especially given that the game of black jack is choked full of them.
If you like the little coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a fatter wager, then jump on for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because they are not thinking about the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s an amazing feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you do not, you might not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride and your head in the sky. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will always remember that disastrous drop as clear as day.
